show 143 – Alan Kanning & Brant David

Almost every show from now till year’s end is booked (hallelujah!), but things regarding KPSU‘s future (at least as far as our city-wide broadcast is concerned) are uncertain. I’ll know more in a few weeks. In the meantime, do some prayers or chanting. Call us up with words of encouragement. Blow some smoke about us on your blog.

And tune in — not just to my show but to all the great programming going on all the time at our fine station. Example: I tuned in randomly last night and heard TalkDemonic playing live!

#142 – Myrrh Larsen

Newsflash: Myrrh and his bandmates trashed the interview booth here at KPSU!!!

Okay, I’m embellishing a bit to make my show sound more rock N roll. They just rearranged everything. (They did move it all back when they were done playing).

The thing is, I had never seen that done before. Until now. That’s Myrrh!

Becky & Jaime tonight!

In just a little over an hour from now, local duo Jaime & Becky will be appearing on the program.

After the show they will be playing over at the White Eagle Saloon. Show begins at 8pm.

Tonight’s show at the White Eagle is the first night of a new weekly songwriter showcase/open mic night. Hosted by John Vecchiarelli, and featuring both local and national talent, it should make Sundays at the White Eagle a must-see for fans of live music. And the White Eagle is such a beautiful venue, who wouldn’t want to hang out there anyway???

See you tonight!
