show 147 – Libbie Schrader

Tonight’s show was fraught with portent, involving a keyboard with no speaker in a room with only microphones.

Thankfully, Libbie brought some cables, Todd brought an amp, and the show felt like a show. Libbie was great – a true professional, and I really loved her song “War On Science”.

Here’s how the hour went down:

Kid Koala – Tricks And Treats – album unknown
Bauhaus – The Party Of The First Part – Swing The Heartache (Beggars Banquet)
Libbie Schrader – It Breaks Today – Letters To Boys (self)

Libbie’s in-studio performance:
         War On Science
         Leave Me Now
         Blood Red Moon
         Come When I Call

Myshkin – Lied – Anti-Theft Device (Waterbug)
Loudon Wainwright – President’s Day – mp3 available on Loudon’s webpage
Dan Bern – Bush Must Be Defeated – My Country II (Messenger)

Thanks to Libbie for lugging her keyboard all the way down to KPSU, and to Todd for co-hosting.
