I kid you not — I brought the song “Father And Son” down to the station to play on my show, not making the connection that tonight was the anniversary of my dad’s passing (he died in 2003). I mean, I knew what day today was, but didn’t know why I was bringing “Father And Son” to play on the show other than the fact that I ran across it this week and I was feeling like I hadn’t played Johnny Cash in awhile (and then there’s Fiona — the music has been freed! — go to freefiona.com for more info). Anyway, after I had the “AHA!” moment, I decided to listen to the universe for a change – bag the songs I had brought down, and play some more songs with my dad in mind. I hope you can relate.
